No pot ser veritat! Aturem a Guillermo Vargas Habacuc

Una amiga m'ha passat un mail que no m'ha deixat indiferent, és més m'ha indignat! i he pensat que no podia ser veritat! Que ens hem tornat bojos! En quin tipus de societat vivint que la tortura i agonia d'un èsser viu es considera art?

Aprofitant aquesta finestra al món que és internet, vull donar a conèixer una de tantes barbaritats que passen al nostre voltant. L'artista, per anomenar-l'ho d'alguna manera, Guillermo Vargas Habacuc, va agafar un gos del carrer i el va lligar amb una corda dins d'una galeria d'art, sense menjar, aigua i per descomptat sense atencions ni amor!

El gos per descomptat va morir agonitzant sota la mirada de les persones allí presents. Com pot ser que ningú fes res? Que ningú sentís llàstima? o denunciés? i jo em pregunto: Qui és pitjor l'"artista" o els visitants?

El pitjor de tot és que ara la "Visual Arts Biennial of the Central American", vol que ho repeteixi! Així que s'estan recollint firmes per aturar-ho! (clickeu al títol per arribar al link)

This is totally inhumane and completely inexcusable

In the 2007, the 'artist' Guillermo Vargas Habacuc, took a dog from the street, he tied him to a rope in an art gallery, starving him to death.

For several days, the 'artist' and the visitors of the exhibition have watched emotionless the shameful 'masterpiece' based on the dog's agony, until eventually he died.

Does it look like art to you?

But this is not all ... the prestigious Visual Arts Biennial of the Central American decided that the 'installation' was actually art, so that Guillermo Vargas Habacuc has been invited to repeat his cruel action for the biennial of 2008.
